Our Mission

 

Historical preservation is our top priority at the Satterfield House. Ever since the deed was signed in 1892, the Sandy Level Community in Mount Airy strived to keep the house in it's original condition. Apart from the brand new kitchen construction to offer a place for a catering company, the Satterfield House is being restored to resemble what it would have looked like back in 1892. 

 

We also understand the importance of community at the Satterfield House. By rennovating the House, it would benefit not only the Sandy Level Community, but also local school districts as an educational site for learning about historic rennovation and preservation.
